Garrett Camporine joined Curtis in July 2007. He is an associate in the Firm’s Trusts & Estates Department. Prior to joining Curtis Mr. Camporine was a senior associate at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, where he focused on estates, trusts and tax planning. Mr. Camporine is a former associate at Chadbourne & Parke LLP, a former tax consultant from Deloitte & Touche LLP, and a former law clerk to the Honorable Warren W. Eginton, Senior United States District Judge for the District of Connecticut.
Mr. Camporine’s practice focuses on advising clients in purchases and sales of businesses, advising clients owning closely held businesses or significant family wealth regarding estate, gift, generation-skipping and income tax planning. He has specialized experience in drafting wills, trusts and other estate planning documents. Mr. Camporine has represented fiduciaries in complex estate and trust administrations before the Surrogate’s Courts in the State of New York and Probate Courts in the State of Connecticut. In addition, he has represented clients in state and federal tax audits before the Internal Revenue Service and New York State Department of Tax and Finance.
Mr. Camporine is admitted to the New York and Connecticut Bars.
