Mr. García is an associate in the Firm’s Tax Department and Latin American Practice Group based in the New York office. He has experience in a broad range of domestic and international tax and corporate matters, with a focus on the tax aspects of cross-border transactions including mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buy-outs, corporate reorganizations, partnerships and joint ventures, structured finance, capital market offerings, and various types of pooled investments. Mr. García also has experience in international corporate finance transactions, corporate restructurings, privatizations, joint ventures, project finance and international taxation.
Mr. García joined the Firm’s New York office in 2000. Prior to joining the New York office, he was based in the Firm’s Mexico City office which he joined in 1997. Mr. García is admitted to practice in Mexico and New York.
