Mr. Gilioli has extensive experience representing foreign corporations in Italy and Italian corporations doing business abroad. He concentrates in mergers and acquisitions and in the negotiating and drafting of international commercial contracts.
Mr. Gilioli has been the President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy from 1988 to 1992, the Chairman of its Legal and Tax Committee and a member of its Executive Committee. He also held the office of Treasurer of the Union of the Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Italy and has been a member of the Council for the United States and Italy. He is a co-founder and director of the American Chamber of Italy and of the Italian Norwegian Association “Assonorvegia.”
Mr. Gilioli is also one of the founders of the American School of Milan. He served at the Aviano Air Base, Aviano, Italy, as a Judge Advocate and was honorably discharged by the United States Air Force with the grade of major.
Mr. Gilioli has studied in Italy, France and the United States. He is a member of the Bars of Washington D.C. and Ohio.
