Practice
Prof. Dr. Ronald Moeder is a partner of Curtis London and is based in the Firm’s Frankfurt Office. Mr. Moeder’s practice is focused on corporate and commercial law. He has extensive experience in trade, corporate and antitrust law and has advised various clients in industries such as telecommunications and pharmaceuticals.
Mr. Moeder is admitted as a qualified lawyer in Germany (Rechtsanwalt) and as a solicitor in England and Wales. He is fluent in German, English and French and proficient in Russian. Prior to joining Curtis, Mr. Moeder was a trainee (solicitor) at Baker & McKenzie in Berlin and London, an associate at Clifford Chance in Düsseldorf and a salary partner at avocado rechtsanwälte in Frankfurt am Main. He also holds a part-time professorship at Heilbronn University where he lectures on corporate and commercial law.
Recent Experience
- Representation of a German bank consortium on an investment in a solar energy company through either a silent partnership or equity holding
- Representation of a Swedish software company in the acquisition of shares in a privately held US software solutions company and other assets, some of which were located in Germany
- Representation of a Dutch agribusiness buyer in the shares acquisition of a German farm equipment company
- Advising a major US electronics manufacturing services company on EU and German merger control issues in the context of several international acquisitions
- Advising a leading Swiss pharmaceuticals company with respect to (i) a Supply and Co-Marketing Agreement for medicinal products envisaged with a leading US pharmaceuticals company, as well as (ii) the drafting of a Research Prize Co-operation Agreement
- Representation of a leading US developer and manufacturer of energy storage and power delivery solutions in product liability litigation against a leading German manufacturer of electronic components for aeroplanes
