Practice
Mr. Rautalahti is an international corporate lawyer based in the firm’s London office. His practice focuses mainly on cross-border mergers and acquisitions and securities offerings. Mr. Rautalahti has 13 years of legal practice experience in London, Toronto and Helsinki. He has 6 years experience as in-house transaction counsel in an international mining company.
Mr. Rautalahti has industry-specific experience from several sectors, in particular traditional heavy industries (natural resources, energy, manufacturing) but also from telecommunications, high-tech industries and medipharma / life sciences.
Mr Rautalahti has published numerous articles on corporate finance and is regularly invited to lecture on corporate finance and M&A issues. He has been named as an established expert in the natural resources sector in the UK editions of Legal 500 since 1998. Legal 500 is the leading league table publication in the European legal market.
Mr. Rautalahti is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and is a member of the Finnish Bar (asianajaja – advokat).
