  • Representation of a major international bank in connection with the misappropriation of assets by a New York broker-dealer.
  • Representation of broker-dealer subsidiary of a major investment company in NASD arbitrations concerning sales practices for annuities.
  • Representation of a major investment adviser in an NASD arbitration concerning allegations of unsuitability for a proprietary hedge fund.
  • Representation of Latinvest Securities before the NASD on claims of unauthorized options trading.
  • Representation of SEI Investments before the NYSE on claims brought by a member broker arising out of fraud in Argentine referred accounts.
  • Representation of the Brazilian directors of an off-shore trading company against claims brought by Lehman Brothers (London).
  • Representation of an alleged co-conspirator in a series of commodity manipulation cases growing out of the Hunt Brother’s corner of the silver futures market (two U.S. federal jury trials and supplementary discovery proceedings in the Swiss courts).
  • Representation of a commodities trading company and its officers in a Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) enforcement action alleging manipulation of the coffee futures market.
  • Representation of a commodities trader in claims involving allegedly fraudulent trading in the physical, forward and futures crude oil and petroleum product markets.
  • Representation of major investment firms as both plaintiff and defendant in litigation in federal and state courts of Connecticut and in arbitration in actions involving non-compete clauses, loans and other employment law issues pertaining to registered representatives, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, failure to supervise, unauthorized trading and unsuitability claims against registered representatives.
