Carmine Gravina Promoted to Partner in Rome
Curtis is pleased to announce that Carmine Gravina has been elected to partner in Rome.
Carmine is a key member of the firm’s rapidly expanding Corporate and M&A practices. He joined Curtis as counsel in 2015 after working in the corporate departments of several prominent Italian law firms.
Carmine’s experience includes representing Italian and multinational clients on corporate matters, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and international joint ventures in a wide range of industries. He has particular expertise in the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors, having advised on the acquisition and operation of renewable energy plants in Italy, as well as represented international energy conglomerates in public tender processes in several African countries.

Fluent in Italian and English, Carmine is admitted to practice in Italy and New York. He has co-authored numerous articles in international periodicals on contract law, product liability and due diligence. He also lectures on M&A and private equity transactions in post-graduate masters of laws programs, and is a frequent speaker at industry seminars. Carmine received his LL.M. from New York University School of Law, and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Università degli Studi di Roma “La Sapienza”.
