Mr. Ferré is a partner in the Litigation and International Arbitration groups. His substantive areas of experience include energy, construction, business law and international law. He has represented U.S. and foreign government officials in state and federal proceedings, and represents sovereign states in international arbitration, in matters concerning energy and construction. He has arbitrated under the American Arbitration Association (AAA), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), and UNCITRAL Rules of Arbitration. He has experience in Latin America, MENA and Central Asia.
Before practicing law, Mr. Ferré, who also is an architect, managed construction projects for Los Angeles County. In addition, he helped establish the county's Energy Management Division, focusing on energy efficiency, and was instrumental in partnering Los Angeles County with Southern California Edison in its innovative 1995 Demand-Side Management Program. Mr. Ferré first gained construction management experience while working for Washington Group International/URS, and Burns and Roe.
