Mr. Miocevic is a partner in the Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity, Venture Capital and International Funds groups. His practice has a focus on the U.A.E and other Gulf Co-operation Council (“GCC”) countries. As well as advising European, US and Asian corporations with respect to investments in the region, he also advises the largest regional investment banks, private equity houses and corporations on their acquisitions, disposals and other transactions within the region and internationally. Due to his knowledge and experience with the laws and regulations of the region and in particular the U.A.E, he also is often required to provide general corporate advisory and corporate regulatory advice.
Mr. Miocevic advises the full range of industry sectors, with particular experience in logistics and supply chain management, water treatment, food and beverage, media and publishing, financial services and retail.
Mr. Miocevic’s International Funds practice includes advising on the structuring, establishment, management and marketing of funds. He has advised on the structure, establishment and investment into; regulated and un-regulated off-shore funds with a Middle East investment and marketing focus; Central Bank regulated mutual funds; funds regulated by financial free zones such as the Dubai International Financial Centre and Qatar Financial Centre; and hybrid structures utilizing off-shore domiciles and on-shore or financial free-zone regulated managers. He also advises on the marketing of foreign, free zone and local funds within the region.
