Mr. Dawes is an associate in the Litigation group. He focuses on complex civil litigation and international arbitration, and has advised corporate and sovereign clients on multidistrict consumer protection and antitrust class actions, international construction disputes, securities regulation issues, executive employment litigations, and other matters. Mr. Dawes also regularly presents Continuing Legal Education seminars to other practicing attorneys on cybersecurity issues, hacking, and the protection of electronic documents and data.
Prior to joining Curtis, Mr. Dawes worked in the Litigation Bureau of the New York State Office of the Attorney General. While in law school, Mr. Dawes was elected Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Negotiation Law Review, and was awarded the GRAMMY Foundation’s Legal Writing Competition prize.
