Senior Trade Advisor
Ms. Naschak has acted as senior trade advisor on more than 10 antidumping investigations and reviews before the U.S. Department of Commerce since 2009, representing foreign enterprises in their defense of U.S. trade remedy cases.
Ms. Naschak has more than five years of experience working with local counsel to coordinate all data collection, understand foreign enterprises’ business structures, and determine the most beneficial reporting methodologies. She also advises on surrogate value and differential pricing issues to minimize margins before the U.S. Department of Commerce and is proficient in SAS and SQL for SAS programming languages.
Prior to joining Curtis, Ms. Naschak was a senior international trade analyst at the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration, Import Administration. As case analyst and team leader, she was responsible for handling 13 cases (including four original investigations), with more than 25 respondents, conducted more than 30 on-site verifications, and developed expertise in SAS programming language and training of junior analysts.
Ms. Naschak was also one of the coauthors of the first internal manual for analyzing “Separate Rate Applications.”
