Mr. Fortuna is an associate in the Corporate group. He assists Italian and multinational corporations, as well as investment banks and private equity funds, in general corporate and commercial matters, with a particular focus on private and public M&A transactions, international joint ventures and corporate governance matters.
Mr. Fortuna has significant experience in assisting listed companies (including banks and insurance companies) on a wide range of corporate, commercial and regulatory matters (including public tender offers, IPOs, takeover bids, mergers, demergers and other extraordinary transactions), with a specific focus on dealing with rules and standards set by CONSOB and the Italian Stock Exchange for listed companies and by Banca d’Italia for banks and other regulated entities (asset management companies, investments funds, etc.).
Before joining Curtis, Mr. Fortuna worked in the fields of investment banking and management consulting (2008-2012), dealing with financial markets law and regulation and corporate and commercial law in the Rome office of a UK magic circle law firm and in the Rome office of a leading Italian law firm (2012-2016).
Mr. Fortuna is currently a lecturer in constitutional law and European Union law at La Sapienza University and in private comparative law and financial markets law at Tor Vergata University.
