Jacob Kearney is an associate in the Litigation group. He focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, arbitration and white-collar criminal cases and investigations.
Prior to joining Curtis, Mr. Kearney clerked at the United States Attorney’s Office of the District of Columbia, where he researched and drafted briefs for the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. He also served as a legal intern for the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, where he conducted document reviews and edited committee reports.
While in law school, Mr. Kearney served as managing editor of the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal and was a recipient of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers’ prestigious Student Advocacy Award. He was also honored as an Exceptional Pro Bono Pledge based on his extensive pro bono service as a student.
