Mr. O'Donoghue's practice encompasses international corporate transactions and international arbitration, with a particular emphasis on Latin America. He also serves as the Firm's co-general counsel.
Mr. O'Donoghue has acted as counsel to governments in arbitrations conducted in the United States and abroad under the auspices of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), and has represented both government and private sector entities in arbitrations governed by the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC), and United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL). In addition to international arbitration matters, Mr. O'Donoghue has represented clients in civil and criminal litigation involving securities, commodities, tax, professional liability, regulatory and real estate matters.
His transactional experience includes project finance and energy infrastructure projects, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, privatizations and cross-border commercial contracts.
Prior to joining the Firm, he clerked for the Honorable Morris Pashman of the New Jersey Supreme Court.
