Four Curtis Lawyers Ranked in Top 100 Female Lawyers in Latin America

New York, April 4, 2016 – Latinvex has just published its list of Latin America’s Top 100 Female Lawyers.  Four members of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP's leading international arbitration team, Miriam Harwood in New York, Claudia Frutos-Peterson in Washington, D.C., and Gabriela Alvarez Avila and Kate Brown de Vejar in Mexico City, were named.

The list has 27 lawyers in the Arbitration and Litigation category. No other firm had more than two lawyers in that category.

"We're delighted but not surprised," said firm Chairman George Kahale, III. "Miriam, Claudia, Gabriela and Kate are all exceptionally talented lawyers and core members of our team."

The Latinvex rankings were based on a combination of factors, including recent track record on major deals and business, prominence of a firm in Latin America and rankings by third parties such as Chambers and Partners, Legal 500 and Thomson Reuters.
