Curtis Restructuring and Insolvency Attorney Jerrold L. Bregman Promoted to Partner
New York, October 1, 2009 – Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP, a leading international law firm, has promoted Jerrold L. Bregman from counsel to partner of the firm. Bregman is a member of the firm’s Restructuring and Insolvency group and practices in its New York offices.
Bregman focuses his practice on chapter 11 cases, cross-border insolvency matters, out-of-court restructurings, insolvency-related commercial transactions and litigation, and similar matters. He has represented publicly and privately owned debtor companies, creditors, equity holders, committees, representatives of foreign insolvency proceedings, hedge fund and private equity managers and investors, governmental entities, bankruptcy trustees and other fiduciaries, among others. Bregman also speaks and writes on domestic and international insolvency issues.
The Curtis Restructuring and Insolvency group regularly advises debtors, creditors’ committees, secured and unsecured creditors, financial institutions, equity owners and investors, trustees, liquidators and court-appointed fiduciaries, and foreign and domestic governmental agencies in all types of restructuring and insolvency matters both in and out of court.
