December 2012
Steven Reisman Named “Outstanding Restructuring Lawyer” for 2012 by Turnarounds & Workouts

New York, December 21, 2012 –  Steven J. Reisman, co-chair of the Restructuring & Insolvency group at Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP, has been cited as one of the "Outstanding Restructuring Lawyers" for 2012 by Turnarounds & Workouts

The monthly newsletter selected Mr. Reisman for this honor based in part, on his serving as conflicts counsel in three of the largest corporate bankruptcies this year: Patriot Coal, Residential Capital, and Hawker Beechcraft.  Mr. Reisman has also served as conflicts counsel to Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc., Lear Corporation, Reader's Digest, CIT, Charter Communications and Calpine Corporation, among others.

Mr. Reisman, in addition to conflicts counsel engagements, was involved in several other significant restructuring engagements in 2012, including representation of Gordon Brothers Retail Partners in its successful bid to acquire assets of Daffy's, and of Paulson & Co, in General Motors Nova Scotia Note Litigation.
