Mr. Behmke, who joined Curtis as an associate in 2004, focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, securities fraud and government regulatory investigations, as well as general commercial litigation and arbitration.

"Peter Behmke has been a major contributor to Curtis' outstanding Litigation practice, playing a significant role in many complex cases in a variety of jurisdictions" said Joseph D. Mr. Behmke's pro bono work highlights include representation of a former inmate of Sing Sing Correctional facility in a prisoner rights case and as a member of the team that filed Habeas corpus and clemency petitions of noted death-row inmate Stanley Williams.

Peter Behmke earned his J.D. at the University of Chicago Law School and his B.A. at Boston College.  He is a member of the New York County Lawyers Association, New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
