Mr. Barnes is a partner in the Restructuring and Insolvency group. He focuses his practice on corporate restructuring, bankruptcy and insolvency law. He has experience in representing debtors, lenders, creditors, investors and other parties of interest in the world’s largest and most complex restructuring matters.
Mr. Barnes has worked on numerous cross-border and international insolvency matters involving England, Germany, Canada, Mexico and other countries. Recent highlights include his key role in the firm's representation of an international aerospace, retail and real estate development business consisting of over 70 domestic and international companies in the United States and abroad.
Mr. Barnes is a frequent writer and speaker on bankruptcy issues, and has been an adjunct professor of law teaching corporate restructuring to second- and third-year law students.
