ATTORNEY PROFILE
Mrs. Evliya is an associate in the International Arbitration group. Since joining the firm her practice has focused on the areas of arbitration, international law and investment law.
Mrs. Evliya has been actively involved in the representation of states and state-owned entities in investment treaty and international commercial arbitrations arising from a wide range of disputes, particularly in the construction and energy sectors. Mrs. Evliya’s experience includes arbitration proceedings under the rules of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).
In addition to international arbitration, Mrs. Evliya has extensive experience in corporate and commercial law matters. Prior to joining Curtis, Mrs. Evliya worked in a Russian law firm based in Moscow advising on a wide range of issues, including joint ventures, corporate and real estate transactions, and representing clients in commercial litigations.
