Ms.Foudy is a partner in the Litigation group. Her practice focuses on a wide range of complex litigation, including securities fraud, accounting malpractice, contract disputes and bankruptcy litigation. Ms. Foudy has represented issuers, auditors and corporate officers and directors in numerous shareholder class action and derivative suits. Ms. Foudy also has defended inquiries pursued by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

Ms.Foudy has represented clients in many high-profile bankruptcy litigation matters, in all phases of litigation up to and including trial, representing Chapter 11 debtors, creditors' committees, indenture trustees, secured and unsecured creditors, shareholders, and distressed investors. She has litigated the array of issues that arise in Chapter 11 cases, including  preferences, fraudulent conveyances, equitable subordination and disallowance, subordination under section 510(b) ofthe Bankruptcy Code, disallowance under section 502(d) of the Bankruptcy Code, intercreditor agreement contractual disputes, substantive consolidation, valuation disputes, perfection and validity of security interests, and plan confirmation objections. She also has assisted clients in responding to Bankruptcy Rule 2004 examinations. Recent representative matters include In re MPM Silicones, LLC, et al.; In re Genco Shipping & Trading Limited, et al.; In re Residential Capital, LLC, et al.; In re Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc., et al.; and In re Motors Liquidation Co., et al. 

Ms. Foudy came to Curtis in 2001 following four years as an appellate attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, where she argued cases before the U.S.Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the New York Court of Appeals, along with being the office's Civil Litigation Coordinator. Ms. Foudy also clerked for the Honorable Dolores Sloviter, Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
