Counsel Kate Brown de Vejar and Associate Anna Kozmenko Speak at the Annual ABA Moscow Dispute Resolution Conference

Curtis attorneys spoke at the Fifth Annual ABA Dispute Resolution Conference that was held in Moscow on September 27, 2013. The ABA's Annual Conference on Resolution of CIS-Related Disputes is the biggest and the most prestigious dispute resolution conference in the CIS. Every year it brings together hundreds of participants from the US, Europe and the CIS.

Kate Brown de Vejar spoke on Hot Topics in Investor-State Arbitration, including, among other issues, transparency of investor-state arbitration and third-party funding.

Anna Kozmenko participated on the panel that examined issues related to criminal law that arise in international arbitration, such as bribery, fraud, and money laundering. The panel discussed how such issues can affect arbitration proceedings and how parties shall deal with them.

In addition, Anna Kozmenko served as Co-Chair of the Conference.
