Curtis Counsel Kate Brown de Vejar to speak at the IBA's Annual Conference in Tokyo

Mexico City based Counsel Kate Brown de Vejar will co-chair the Arbitration Committee's session on sports arbitration, to be held on Monday October 20, 2014. The panel will examine some of the most notorious recent scandals to hit the sporting world, including Oscar Pistorius (aka “Bladerunner”)'s successful arbitration permitting him to compete internationally against able-bodied athletes, the Luis Suarez biting incident at the soccer World Cup in Brazil, and the Ray Rice scandal which has rocked the NFL.
