Singapore- International law firm, Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP (“Curtis”) announces its entry into an association with Chevalier Law LLC (“Chevalier Law”), an independent Singapore law firm with expertise in corporate law, dispute resolution and corporate real estate.
Chevalier Law was founded by its Managing Director, Chong Eng Wee and Director, Lim Bee Li. Eng Wee has more than 15 years’ experience practising with major international and local law firms and as in-house counsel at large SGX-ST listed companies. His areas of practice include mergers & acquisitions, capital markets, private equity and China related transactions. Being qualified to practice in 4 jurisdictions, including Singapore and Hong Kong, Eng Wee’s strong international client following includes Singapore and Hong Kong listed companies, private equity funds, multinational companies, Chinese conglomerates, high net worth individuals and small and medium enterprises.
Chevalier Law’s other areas of expertise include civil & commercial litigation, international arbitration and corporate retail and commercial real estate led by its other Director, Lim Bee Li. Bee Li has practised for more than 15 years with major and boutique local law firms and is experienced in advising her clients on a wide range of matters including construction litigation, contractual claims, company shareholders’ disputes, insolvency proceedings, libel claims, employment disputes, and contentious probate matters.
