New York, June 22, 2020 — Curtis is pleased to announce the addition of partner Frank J. Marinaro in the firm’s New York office. A veteran corporate attorney with a balanced domestic and international background, Mr. Marinaro joins Curtis from the international private equity firm Warburg Pincus. His broadly based practice includes mergers and acquisitions, investment management, securities regulation, dispute resolution and general counsel experience.
Prior to joining Curtis, Mr. Marinaro advised on private equity investments in fast-growth portfolio companies in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore and other South East Asian markets for over a decade regarding regulatory compliance, M&A and public market disposition transactions, and on deal-related disputes including internal investigations and class actions. His experience extends to legal matters involving investments in companies publicly listed in Hong Kong and China and spans a number of sectors including: consumer goods, financial services, healthcare, real estate and technology, media and telecom (TMT). Mr. Marinaro has also advised China-based, US-listed companies extensively on public reporting and securities offerings, as well as on tax and fund structuring.
