Partner Lynn P. Harrison III, Chair of Curtis’ Restructuring and Insolvency Group, served as Educational Co-Chair of INSOL International’s 2018 Americas Regional Conference, which took place from April 29 to May 1, 2018 in New York.
As Educational Co-Chair, Mr. Harrison was tasked with selecting speakers and developing programming to appeal to the over 800 delegates who attended the Conference. Notable among his other responsibilities, Mr. Harrison led a question and answer session with Conference keynote speaker David A. Chaves, a retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent who oversaw a number of highly visible securities fraud cases and other white collar investigations while serving in the FBI’s New York Division for twenty years.
Mr. Harrison became a fellow of INSOL (International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency, and Bankruptcy Professionals) in 2013. INSOL, a U.K. organization, has grown to become the leading global restructuring professional association with over 10,000 participating attorneys and accountants worldwide. Mr. Harrison has previously spoken at the organization’s Africa Roundtable as well as its 2008 regional conference in Shanghai and its 2014 Regional Conference in Hong Kong.
