International Corporate partner Bradley Doline has a practice which combines broad experience in international corporate transactions, with a concentration in the investment management, private client and venture capital sectors, with long-standing oil and gas expertise on behalf of governments and state-owned entities.
All aspects of professional investment management are covered in Mr. Doline’s practice. His relevant experience includes advising fund sponsors and international financial institutions on the formation, structuring and ongoing compliance requirements of private investment funds. He also represents sovereign entities, including sovereign wealth funds, on the expansion of their investment aims, formation and structuring of their sub-funds and special purpose vehicles, and the organization of their cross-border structured investments.
Mr. Doline acts for a global private client base of high net worth individuals, family offices, wealth management groups and private banks on a diverse array of matters, particularly in the investment and asset management-related aspects of their activities. He has regularly advised a clientele located across the United States, Latin America, Europe and the Middle East on direct investments in blue-chip assets and real estate projects, companies, venture capital and early stage investments and participating interests in private funds.
Guiding investors and emerging companies in structuring, negotiating and executing transactions that provide potential for growth and meet ROI expectations, Mr. Doline often advises on mergers, acquisitions, venture capital and private equity deals, joint ventures and co-investments. He has extensive experience in all aspects of the investment process, including due diligence, structuring and negotiation, financing transactions and exit transactions. He regularly advises clients on the establishment of corporate entities and initiation of their business activities, including development of the capital structure, implementation of stock option plans, negotiation of employment agreements and protection of intellectual property assets.
Mr. Doline has worked on several major transactions in the energy sector, advising governments and state-owned entities, such as national oil companies, at all stages of oil and gas exploitation, including the negotiation and drafting of agreements and contracts used in the upstream and downstream phases of the industries. He focuses his practice on Western Africa and Central Asia.
