Dolores Casares is an associate in the firm´s Corporate group in Buenos Aires, and International Trade group.
In the Corporate group her practice focuses on the structuring and negotiation of commercial and financial transactions in both local and international jurisdictions, as well as general corporate and regulatory advice
As part of the International Trade group, Ms. Casares has significant experience in trade remedy actions and has represented clients in antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings before the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission. Her experience extends to matters before the World Trade Organization (WTO).
Recent representative matters include representing the Government of Argentina and a major Argentinian producer of biodiesel in a countervailing duty (CVD) case involving biodiesel from Argentina, as well as representing the Spanish table olive industry in a countervailing duty case involving ripe olives from Spain, and a private sector client in an antidumping case involving Finished Carbon Steel Flanges from Spain.
