Rizzo, Elena

Elena Rizzo focuses her practice on cross-border commercial litigation and international arbitration, particularly in oil and gas disputes.

Prior to joining Curtis, Ms. Rizzo served as a case counsel at the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), where she administered complex international arbitrations. Having studied in the United States and Italy, she has knowledge of both common law and civil law systems. She is fluent in English, Italian, Spanish, and French, regularly consulting with clients and conducting legal research in these languages.

Academic Distinction

In law school, Ms. Rizzo was awarded the Edward and Elizabeth Hawk Prize, conferred on the graduate with the highest overall academic performance, and the Robert Schuman Prize, awarded to the highest achiever in European Union law coursework.
