Filippo Palmieri is a corporate partner with years of experience in M&A, corporate and commercial law gained in the Italian and European markets.
Mr. Palmieri has advised Italian and internationally owned clients on a broad range of corporate and mergers and acquisitions matters. He has particular experience in privatizations, initial public offerings, joint venture agreements, and complex corporate reorganizations within the Italian market. His sector experience spans most industries, including packaging, pharmaceuticals, media and energy.
As a complement to his legal practice, Mr. Palmieri remains highly engaged in academia. He recently served as an adjunct professor at the University of Macerata teaching Private Comparative Law and has taught EU Law, including EU Energy Law. He has published a monograph on the exercise of the legal profession through corporate structures as well as many articles and papers on corporate and private comparative matters.
In 2008, Mr. Palmieri gained a Ph.D. in Private Comparative Law and EU Private Law and has previously worked as a researcher of the Altiero Spinelli Excellence Center at the University of Rome Tre.
