Nicole Mazanitis is a partner in the Litigation group. Her practice focuses on complex commercial cases in federal and state courts, as well as a variety of arbitral and industry forums. Ms. Mazanitis’ representations include matters related to intellectual property and international law.

In the area of intellectual property, Ms. Mazanitis represents clients in a variety of matters, including utility, design, and pharmaceutical patent infringement; copyright infringement; trademark infringement, unfair competition, and counterfeiting; trade dress infringement; trade secret misappropriation; defamation; and the federal computer fraud and abuse statute. Ms. Mazanitis also assists clients in developing and protecting international portfolios of trademark rights. Ms. Mazanitis has litigated disputes in federal courts across the country, and in trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

In the area of international law, Ms. Mazanitis represents clients in transnational matters, including arbitrations under the rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre and the London Court of International Arbitration; letters rogatory inquests; requests for international judicial assistance under 28 U.S.C. §1782; and the coordination of parallel proceedings in a variety of foreign jurisdictions.

Ms. Mazanitis is an adjunct professor at Fordham University School of Law, where she teaches a Negotiation and Mediation Practicum.
