Velariya Grebenkova is an associate in the international trade group. She also advises on litigation, international arbitration and public international law.

Ms. Grebenkova has experience representing governments in investor-state disputes under the auspices of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) as well as in the cases administered by the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA). She also has experience representing clients in many fora including national courts, domestic arbitration, and international arbitration under the LCIA, SCC, ICC and UNCITRAL rules.

Her practice focuses on energy, oil and gas, real estate, banking and services industries. Ms. Grebenkova also advises on sanctions related matters.

She was the youngest lawyer recognized among the Top 10 arbitration practitioners under the age of 40 by the Russian Arbitration Association in 2020 and 2021.

Ms. Grebenkova is also recognized by Best Lawyers 2022 as a leading expert in international arbitration and litigation.
