Counsel Denis Bonvegna is notable for his breadth of domestic and international experience in commercial and investment disputes, representing clients in a wide range of transnational cases in both court and arbitral proceedings.

Arbitration and Litigation

Mr. Bonvegna has been with Curtis for over ten years, during which time he has been instrumental in developing the Italian offices' international and domestic arbitration practice.

His practice focuses on international commercial and investment arbitration. He has represented private corporations, sovereign states and state-owned entities in connection with international arbitrations under the leading institutional and ad hoc arbitration rules, including those of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the American Arbitration Association (AAA), the Milan Chamber of Arbitration (CAM), the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL). Ms. Bonvegna also acts as an arbitrator.

His experience spans various sectors, including aerospace, construction and engineering, oil and gas, pharma, real estate, transport and telecoms.

Prior to joining Curtis, he worked for a number of years in the dispute resolution department of the Milan office of a UK Magic Circle law firm.
