Mr. Holmes has represented individuals, companies and foreign states across a variety of complex disputes including class actions and issues of foreign sovereign immunity. Mr. Holmes’ experience also includes serving as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department, where he represented the City of New York and its agencies in labor and employment lawsuits and handled caseloads through all stages of litigation in both the State and Federal Court.
Mr. Holmes maintains an active pro bono practice which includes working as part of Curtis teams that prepare amicus briefs for cases before the United States Supreme Court.
