Ali Al Lawati is an associate in Curtis' Corporate team in Muscat. He advises on corporate and regulatory matters across the life-cycle of Omani companies, including mergers and acquisitions, share transfers and share pledges, company formation and restructuring, corporate governance, and commercial contracting.

Mr. Al Lawati has a particular focus on foreign capital investment, advising international clients on market-entry structures, ownership and licensing requirements, and the establishment of Omani subsidiaries and joint ventures. He regularly engages with Omani regulators and government authorities on approvals, filings and ongoing compliance.

Prior to joining Curtis Oman, Mr. Al Lawati trained with local firms, where he gained broad experience in contract drafting, company incorporation, general corporate advisory and dealings with government entities.

Mr. Al Lawati holds an LLB from Swansea University. He works in Arabic and English to a professional level.
