Ulke Guillermo

Guillermo Ulke has extensive experience in structuring and negotiating major cross-border transactions, including infrastructure projects, mergers and acquisitions, financings and joint ventures. He has also advised sovereign clients in commercial arbitration and investment disputes.

Mr. Ulke’s experience in law, business and finance enables him to provide creative and effective strategic advice on complex international transactions and disputes. In recent years he has advised on multiple large projects and transactions in the Americas and Europe.

Mr. Ulke has represented states and state-owned entities in a number of major infrastructure projects and transactions, particularly in the energy sector. He has led negotiations of project arrangements, joint ventures, financings, asset and stock sales and other transactions involving leading international oil and gas companies, traders and lending parties, and has assisted public and private sector clients in several landmark electricity projects.

He has also advised clients operating in a variety of other economic sectors, including banking, venture capital, technology, agriculture, mining and manufacturing, on a range of transactional, regulatory and dispute resolution matters.

Prior to joining Curtis in New York, he managed business ventures, worked on public policy matters and practiced law in Argentina, where he also taught economic and financial analysis at the School of Law of the University of Buenos Aires.

Mr. Ulke holds degrees in law, and in economics and business administration. He is admitted to practice in New York and Buenos Aires.
