Rodrigo Valverde has extensive experience in capital markets, finance and mergers and acquisition matters. He has advised on a wide range of transactions, including public and private securities offerings and purchases, securitizations, structured financings, secured bank and non-bank lending and borrowing transactions as well as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic investments and partnerships involving public and private companies.

Finance and Corporate

Multinational clients such as financial institutions, public and private borrowers and issuers seek, Mr. Valverde’s advice on local and cross-border banking and capital markets transactions, including advice in connection with infrastructure finance transactions, securitizations, global securities offerings and private placements. He has also counseled international oil and gas clients on specific matters involving Mexican civil and administrative law. Mr. Valverde has implemented and structured financing schemes for various municipalities of the Mexican United States, including securitizations of local collection rights and has collaborated with international development institutions for the financing of various water facilities in Mexico.

Mr. Valverde regularly represents clients in cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, including with respect to antitrust matters. He also counsels clients on securities laws compliance, corporate governance and general corporate matters.
