Michael Graif to Teach Social Media Law Course at Penn Law

Michael Graif, chair of the Intellectual Property department of Curtis, will teach a seminar in Social Media Law at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Mr. Graif will cover topics such as the inherent tension between information sharing and privacy, the rights of employers and school districts to restrict and discipline employee and student speech, property rights in a social media account, ethical issues for attorneys using social media, and how courts and regulators are shaping the law. This will be the first such course taught at Penn Law.  Mr. Graif has been teaching a similar course the last few years at New York’s Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law as an Adjunct Professor.

A memo on Penn Law’s blog can about the course can be read here.
