Mr. O'Donoghue's practice encompasses international arbitration and international corporate transactions.  He also serves as the Firm's co-general counsel.

Mr. O’Donoghue has acted as counsel to governments in arbitrations conducted in the United States and abroad under the auspices of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), and has represented both government and private sector entities in arbitrations governed by the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce, the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).  His litigation experience includes criminal and regulatory matters, as well as civil litigation of securities, tax, professional liability, joint venture and real estate disputes.

As a corporate lawyer, Mr. O'Donoghue has represented state-owned and private companies in international energy and oil & gas infrastructure projects, and has advised on mergers and acquisitions in the U.S. and Latin America.  

Prior to joining the Firm, he clerked for the Honorable Morris Pashman of the New Jersey Supreme Court.

Since 1999 he has acted as Chairman of Senator Charles E. Schumer's Judicial Screening Panel. 

Chair of the Board of Directors of Fedcap Rehabilitation Services, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to training and employing persons with disabilities and other barriers to employment.
