Primarily representing high-net-worth clients, Mr. Sheehan advises individuals, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, real estate developers, family offices and philanthropists. Mr. Sheehan advises a domestic and international clientele on wealth preservation and succession planning objectives. He is deeply experienced in contested fiduciary matters, tax controversy, representing charitable organizations and private foundations, and advising on family office and governance matters.

Fiduciary Duties and Community Involvement

Along with being a partner, Mr. Sheehan also holds a number of fiduciary positions, serving as trustee or co-trustee of several personal trusts and is on the advisory board of several arts and cultural institutions in New York. He has been a Fellow of the American College of Trusts and Estates Counsel since 1995 and sits on several of its Committees.
