Valerio Salvatori has several years of experience in international arbitration conducted under the most widely used arbitration rules and across a variety of sectors, including energy, tax and infrastructure. His experience includes serving as counsel for States and State-owned entities in high‑stake, high-profile cases brought by foreign investors on the basis of contracts and international treaties.

Mr. Salvatori has also developed a particular expertise in negotiating settlement transactions and in providing assistance in connection with set aside proceedings in multiple jurisdictions. In addition, he provides advice in public international law and oil and gas matters. Separately, Mr. Salvatori has repeatedly advised clients on international sanctions issued by the UN and the EU. Such advice concerned a variety of transactions in the automotive, naval, energy, financial and other services sectors. Enrolled in the Milan Lawyers’ Bar, Mr. Salvatori has also experience in domestic litigation and labor law issues.
