With a background in the traditional oil and gas sector, Ms. Botero developed an early interest in hydrogen as a low-carbon solution to advance the energy transition. Ms. Botero now spearheads multiple initiatives surrounding these innovations at Curtis, including forming dedicated industry groups in hydrogen, blockchain and AI. Legal Industry Initiatives including Diversity and Inclusion

A member of the Firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Ms. Botero spearheaded the development of a continuing legal education (CLE) seminar titled “Implicit Bias in the Legal Profession,” which explores unconscious biases and how they impact legal practice and gives participants concrete response techniques to help address them.
