Antonio M. Prida speaks at ICC Roundtable on the proposed General Law on Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms and proposed new title of the Mexican Commercial Code on Commercial Conciliation

Mexico City-based partner Antonio M. Prida, in his character as President of the Mediation Committee of ICC Mexico, organized a Roundtable together with a dozen leading lawyers’ associations interested in ADRs, which include the Mexican Bar, the Association of Business Lawyers, the Mexican Institute for Mediation and the Mexican Institute for Arbitration, to analyze the proposed General Law on Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms and proposed new title of the Mexican Commercial Code on Commercial Conciliation. The event took place on May 31, 2017 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Mexico City.

Mr. Prida spoke on the program’s second panel, which focused on the Mexican Commercial Code. The event also featured a keynote address by Andrés Alejandro Pérez Frías, General Counsel of the Mexican Ministry of Economy, who is leading the drafting of both laws.
