Curtis Law in Buenos Aires
Experience
Curtis has a long-standing Africa law practice that has grown exponentially over the past few years. We have particular expertise in the areas of Oil and Gas, International Arbitration, International Taxation, Public International Law, and advising Sovereign Wealth Funds in this region.
Curtis is active throughout Asia and the Asia-Pacific region. The firm operates out of two offices in Kazakhstan, Astana and Almaty. It opened its doors in Beijing in 2014 to better serve clients operating or located in China, as well as in East Asia and Southeast Asia.
In Europe, Curtis gives clients international and local law advice in each of the key financial and business centers of London, Paris, Milan, Rome, Frankfurt, Geneva and Brussels. Much of the firm’s work for its growing African client base is also managed from the London, Milan and Paris offices.
Curtis was one of the first law firms to establish an office in Mexico City and open an office in Buenos Aires in 2012. Presently, Curtis retains its regional pre-eminence in Latin America, and advises governments and a range of clients on energy and infrastructure work in particular.
Curtis’ Middle East practice provides a full suite of international and domestic legal services out of the firm’s offices in Dubai, Muscat and Riyadh, with active support from the wider team in Europe, Asia and the U.S.
Curtis' New York headquarters offers a full range of international and domestic legal advice, with core strengths in dispute resolution, corporate, restructuring and insolvency, and tax. The firm is also known for its top-ranked international trade team based in Washington, D.C., and for its thriving energy practice in Houston.
