Associate Jadranka Jakovcic Participates in the 13th Annual Juris Conference on Investment Treaty Arbitration

Curtis associate Jadranka Jakovcic participated in this year’s Juris Conference on Investment Treaty Arbitration, an annual event in Washington, D.C., which took place on April 8, 2019. Ms. Jakovcic was a panelist at a session titled “Investment Arbitration under the Energy Charter Treaty in the Wake of Achmea v. Slovakia: Allowed or Forbidden?” that analyzed the judgement handed down by the Court of Justice of the European Union in 2018 and its implications for the international investment arbitration community stakeholders. Ms. Jakovcic also presented a paper on this topic which will be published in the next edition of Investment Treaty Arbitration and International Law.
