Chambers Global 2017: Curtis climbs in the rankings

Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP announced today that the firm has received four new firm and individual rankings in the 2017 edition of Chambers Global, launched in March 2017, for a total of 50 rankings in the guide.

Curtis’ four new rankings included:

  • Curtis Dubai – UAE Corporate/Commercial – Band 4
    “Sources remark that the lawyers ‘work quickly and have really great attention to detail.’”
  • Alastair Holland - UAE Corporate Commercial – Band 3
    “Clients appreciate that he is ‘always very friendly, always helpful and always responsive.’”
  • Alessandra Zingales - Oman Corporate Commercial - One to Watch


In addition, Curtis chairman George Kahale III, and Washington, D.C.-based partners Dan Porter and James Durling all moved up within the rankings in USA International Arbitration and Asia-Pacific Region International Trade/WTO, respectively.

The guide also features sparkling feedback for several practices within the firm, including Curtis’ renowned international arbitration group, which is “Recognised for its strength in managing high-profile international arbitrations, with leading experience acting for governments and state-owned entities,” and is “well regarded for its particular specialization in the oil and gas and natural resources space.”
