Partner Charles Howland will speak at two upcoming conferences that focus on current issues in environmental and energy law. On April 4, 2019, he will speak on “Requirements for ‘Repealing’ Regulations at the Federal Level” at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s Environmental Law Forum, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The two day CLE-accredited forum is the Commonwealth’s preeminent annual conference of environmental and energy lawyers, and will be attended by attorneys, federal and state government officials, scientists, academics, and engineers.
On April 8 and 9, 2019, Mr. Howland will be speaking on several panels at the Brightfields 2019 −Virginia Conference, addressing legal liability, land use, and permitting issues associated with siting renewable energy projects on environmentally impaired lands. The Conference is the premier solar energy development event in the southeast U.S., and brings together redevelopment agencies, solar and brownfield developers, policy makers and professionals to update them on the latest trends in solar energy project development.
