Curtis and FremantleMedia Italia Secure Release of Two Journalists Detained in Dubai

Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP has advised FremantleMedia Italia in the proceedings which have led to the release of two Italian journalists and their return to Italy.

The two journalists, who worked on the LA7 TV show «Non è l’Arena», hosted by Massimo Giletti and produced by FremantleMedia Italia had been detained and their passports seized in Dubai on January 9, 2018. They returned to Italy on January 15.

Over the course of the local police assessments Curtis coordinated with the Consular Authorities and set up a task force between Curtis Italy, our Dubai office and Mahmood Hussain Law Firm, under the guidance of the General Counsel of FremantleMedia Italia, Mr. Dario Morelli.
