Curtis Publishes Annual Review of Supreme Court Cases with Implications for Global Business

Curtis Counsel Enrique Jaramillo will be speaking on a panel collaborating with the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN) on October 23 in Downtown Houston.
The event titled “New Energies, Same Changes?”, will be featuring a discussion on hydrogen and its implications for contractual rights, alongside industry experts. This panel will be highlighting the comparative analysis of hydrogen and other energy forms, including traditional oil and gas, LNG, and RNG. The session will explore the implications these differences have on contractual rights and obligations.
The panel will be featuring Maria Hadjialexiou, Drake Hernandez, David Lang, and moderator Erik Mielke as they address the unique challenges of seeking contract standardization within this evolving field.
They will also discuss ongoing efforts by AIEN's drafting committees to develop a Hydrogen Sale and Purchase Agreement (H2 SPA) and a Hydrogen Joint Development and Operating Agreement (H2 JDOA).
