Curtis Names 5 New International Corporate Partners

New York, January 6, 2016 – Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP has announced that five counsel have been promoted to partner in its International Corporate practice: Bradley H. Doline, Joshua S. Geller, Ryan Christopher Hansen, Raymond T. Hum and Shaun Reader. Messrs. Geller, Hansen and Reader are based in New York; Mr. Hum is based in Washington; and Mr. Doline is based in London.

  • Bradley Doline has a broad range of experience in international corporate transactions, particularly in investment management and oil & gas matters. Mr. Doline focuses on all aspects of professional investment management. He advises fund sponsors and international financial institutions and government entities and funds on the formation, structuring and compliance requirements of private investment funds. His energy sector experience includes counseling governments and state-owned entities. Mr. Doline joined Curtis in 2006.
  • Joshua Geller represents public and private companies in domestic and cross-border corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, joint ventures and strategic alliances. He also advises clients on general commercial and corporate governance matters, and has significant experience in matters related to distressed companies. Mr. Geller has also advised U.S. and foreign professional investment managers in structuring U.S. and offshore investment vehicles and in ongoing U.S. regulatory compliance. He has been with Curtis since 2005.
  • Ryan Hansen handles international corporate projects involving clients in the oil and gas, commodities, transportation and investment management sectors. In addition, Mr. Hansen regularly advises public and private companies as well as sovereign entities on matters involving the U.S. securities laws, including compliance with SEC reporting and disclosure requirements. He joined Curtis in 2007.
  • Raymond Hum focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate financings, tender and exchange offers, joint venture transactions, securities law compliance and reporting, and corporate governance matters. He has counseled clients in a number of industries, including the oil and gas, electronics manufacturing services and biotechnology industries. Mr. Hum started his legal career with Curtis in 2001.
  • Shaun Reader concentrates on the international and domestic legal aspects of professional investment management. He also screens, structures and forms U.S. and offshore investment funds, including private equity funds, hedge funds, real estate funds and venture capital funds. Mr. Reader's experience includes conducting due diligence on potential investments into alternative investment vehicles. Mr. Reader was named as one of M&A Advisor's 40 Under 40 Emerging Leaders in 2015. He started at Curtis in 2005.
